I have an extensive background in telecommunications, technology, emergency management, public service, and economic development. With decades of leadership experience, I have played a pivotal role in enhancing public safety infrastructure, expanding rural broadband access, and supporting disaster response efforts across Northeast Pennsylvania.

I am married to my amazing Maria Elisa Giordano Wrightson and the proud father of five children and four grandchildren, with a fifth grandchild expected in June. My parents are Anthony and Sharon(Giombetti) Wrightson from Jessup. I am also the grandson of a Purple Heart WWII Veteran, Edward Giombetti, whose legacy inspires my dedication to service.

My expertise in telecommunications has made me a leader in critical infrastructure projects, including managing all Lackawanna County 911 communication towers and owning/managing four independent communication towers.

My leadership in emergency response was demonstrated during the 2011 Susquehanna River Flood, where I coordinated over 600 volunteers to shelter and aid more than 75,000 potential evacuees—the largest Red Cross deployment in Eastern Pennsylvania since 1972. My efforts have earned recognition from FEMA and the FAA for Best Practices in Disaster Preparedness and Airport Disaster Drills.
