I was born and raised in Jessup, the son of Anthony and Sharon (Giombetti) Wrightson, and the proud grandson of Edward Giombetti, a World War II Purple Heart veteran who instilled in me a lifelong commitment to service.
I am married to Maria Elisa Giordano Wrightson, and together we have a blended family of five children and are blessed with five grandchildren. Family and community are at the center of my life and guide everything I do.
I have spent more than three decades working in telecommunications, emergency management, public service, youth sports, and economic development with one goal in mind: to make life better for my neighbors, the people of Northeast Pennsylvania.
Throughout my career, I have expanded rural broadband, strengthened public safety infrastructure, and led disaster response efforts that provided comfort and critical support to thousands of families. I believe in solving problems, not playing politics, and in bringing people together to get real things done. I am not afraid to do the heavy lifting.
Experience
I have been fortunate to serve in leadership roles across both the public, non-profit and private sectors, including:
- Current Small Business Owner and Operator, Fire Tower Communications, serving Monroe, Wayne, and Lackawanna Counties
- Current Rural Broadband Development Lead, Icon Technologies
- Former Regional Emergency Services Director, American Red Cross, covering a ten county region
- Former Member of the Northeast Regional Counter-Terrorism Task Force
- Former FEMA Liaison and Communications Infrastructure Manager, Lackawanna County
- Former College Instructor and Network Specialist, Keystone College and Johnson College
- Former Small Business Owner, The Playing Fields Sports Dome, an 82,000 sf Indoor Sports Facility
- Former network coordinator for Patrick Media Group of Scranton, Once the Largest Outdoor Advertising Company in the USA.
During the 2011 Susquehanna River Flood, while serving as Emergency Services Director, I coordinated more than 600 volunteers and helped prepare sheltering for over 75,000 potential evacuees. This was the largest Red Cross deployment in Eastern Pennsylvania since Hurricane Agnes.

- Coach and Umpire for youth baseball, softball, and soccer, from youth through college levels

- Designed and Created WIFI Hotspots for Education and Telmed during Covid

- Provided Mapping support during various Search and Rescue events.

I am not a career politician. I wake up every day, go to work, and carry the same family responsibilities as the people I represent. My life and career have required real world problem solving, the ability to react quickly in a constantly changing environment, and the willingness to seek out those who have other solutions or potential paths that help us all. Because of that experience, I will be ready on day one to deliver real results for my friends, family, and neighbors across Pennsylvania.
